Boston Herald reports police are asking for the public’s help in tracking down the gunman who attacked two young women in a Jamaica Plain drive-by shooting last night.
The women, who suffered non-life threatening wounds, were about to get out of their parked car at the intersection of McBride and South streets at about 10:28 p.m. when another vehicle drove by and fired shots into their car, according to police.
A 25-year-old woman in the front passenger seat was transported to Boston Medical Center with a gunshot wound to her right knee, while a 23-year-old woman also in the car was taken to Brigham and Women’s Hospital with a gunshot wound to her right shoulder, police said. The driver of their car – a 24-year-old man – was uninjured in the attack, according to police.
The gunman’s car fled on Center Street, according to investigators.
